The story behind the painting

Commissioned painting of Anse Georgette beach on Praslin island, Seychelles. At high tide, the waves come crashing over the reef against the rocks on the beach.
As this piece was to be shipped to Australia, rolled in a tube, I stapled the canvas on a board. This allowed me to paint the sides. The customer had it framed and sent me the photo of the piece haning in her home.
