The dorado (Coryphaena hippurus), also called mahi-mahi or common dolphinfish is a surface-dwelling fish found in off-shore temperate, tropical, and subtropical waters worldwide. It is called dorad in the Seychelles. The water surface acts as mirror from both sides. I was fascinated by the reflections which inspired me to make this painting. It is currently exposed at Aden Art Space in Seychelles.
