The brown noddy or noddy tern (Anous stolidus) is a common seabird in the Seychelles. When visiting Bird Island, I photographed these birds drying their plumage and made a quick graphite and water color sketch of the head followed by the complete piece in studio. This pastel is framed and exhibited at Eden Art Space, Seychelles.
